Valerie Hoskins established VHA Ltd in 1983, as an agency specialising in properties for the children’s film and television market.  Clients include the creators of both BOB THE BUILDER and ROARY THE RACING CAR, the scriptwriters on shows like POSTMAN PAT, CHARLIE AND LOLA, KOALA BROTHERS, etc, and book to television and film deals for writers Mick Inkpen, Nick Butterworth, Colin McNaughton, Eleanor Updale, Lauren St John, Stewart and Riddell, SF Said and Eoin Colfer. The agency acts on behalf of individual authors and creators besides literary agents and publishers, including Oxford University Press Children’s list, and works actively and directly with producers in Europe and in the United States.
