Lisa Boggiss Boyce has an MA in Children's Literature from Roehampton University and has lectured on all aspects of children's book production, as well as teaching paper skills and visual theory. She spent fifteen years as an Art Director and Paper Engineer in children's book publishing and has had the privilege of working on projects with Lucy Cousins, Jan Pienkowski and Maurice Sendak. She has written several published articles, recently including an interview with highly acclaimed pop-up book artist and paper engineer, Robert Sabuda. She divides her time between working as Library Development Co-ordinator at a secondary school and giving pop-up workshops to primary school pupils and community groups. She lives in Dorking, Surrey with her husband and two young children.
