Dawn Casey

Dawn Casey has worked as a children’s book editor and primary school teacher. She writes for young children, specialising in re-telling ‘tales of old’ from around the world. She is the author of Chinese legends (The Great Race – The Story of the Chinese Zodiac), Irish myths (The Children of Lir), Egyptian epics (Isis and Osiris), Asian fairytales (Yeh-hsien – A Chinese Cinderella) and traditional fables (Fox Fables). Dawn is currently writing The Barefoot Book of Earth Tales - an anthology of stories about caring for the planet.
